Client Acceptance Policy
At Legarithm (hereinafter “Company” or “We”), we are committed to conducting business in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. We carefully review all prospective clients and business relationships to ensure alignment with these principles.We do not accept clients or provide services to any individuals or businesses involved in illegal, prohibited, or unethical activities, or whose operations could present reputational, legal, or regulatory risks to our company.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we determine that a client or their activities fall within the categories outlined below.
1. Ineligible Clients
We do not provide services to the following categories of individuals or entities:
- Individuals who lack legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Undischarged bankrupts or individuals subject to bankruptcy proceedings
- Individuals who have been convicted of criminal offenses related to financial crime, terrorism, or money laundering
- Entities that are subject to international sanctions or restrictions
- Entities that are involved in activities prohibited by this policy
2. Prohibited Activities and Sectors
We do not provide services to clients engaged in the following activities or sectors:
Financial crime and illicit activity:
- Money laundering or terrorist financing
- Proceeds from drug trafficking or other illegal activities
- Violations of international sanctions
- Tax evasion or aggressive tax avoidance schemes
Weapons, military, and security:
- Trade in arms, ammunition, or military equipment
- Mercenary services or private military contractors
- Production or sale of harmful security equipment
- Involvement in torture or cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment
Hazardous and illegal materials:
- Production, trade, or disposal of hazardous chemicals or substances
- Trade in nuclear materials or weapons
- Illegal disposal of waste or environmental violations
Human exploitation and unethical practices:
- Organ trade or trafficking
- Unlicensed surrogacy services
- Exploitation of refugees or vulnerable populations
- Production or distribution of pornography or materials promoting violence
Unregulated financial and fraudulent activities:
- Pyramid schemes or Ponzi schemes
- Unlicensed investment advice or financial services
- Collective investment schemes without proper authorization
- Unlicensed credit card services or payment processing
Other prohibited areas:
- Unlicensed educational institutions or diploma mills
- Illegal gambling or unlicensed gaming activities
- Activities that pose a reputational risk to Legarithm
- Any other activities prohibited by applicable laws or regulations
3. Geographic Restrictions
We do not provide services to clients located in or operating from jurisdictions where international sanctions apply or where our policies prohibit operations. These restrictions may include, but are not limited to, jurisdictions subject to sanctions by:
- United Nations Security Council
- European Union
- Cyprus regulatory authorities
- Ukraine regulatory authorities
- United Arab Emirates regulatory authorities
4. Reputation and Compliance
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services to any client whose activities, in our sole discretion, may:
- Damage our reputation or brand
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Create undue compliance or regulatory risks
- Conflict with our ethical standards or values
